Happy New Year?

Saw New Year in by accident - was (sober and) playing with one of my fics, splitting it up into bit-sized txts for the purposes of the Grand Website Project. Was wondering why everyone suddenly started letting off fireworks. Then mum and bro came running in and started peering out of my window (which faces out the back and is large, therefore good for looking at other people's gardens/fireworks. "Happy New Year!" they said. It took me a moment to figure that one out.

And I've been a good dragon today and done a practice essay, on the colonisation of land by green plants. And I think it was almost coherent. And my Amazon books /should/ arrive tomorrow. Yay!
