Crawlingness
7 February 2004 19:09Well, we did our bit for Social Awareness, i.e. we went on the lbg pub crawl on Thurs, which was highly yay.
The e-mail we got read:
"Come along if:
a) you want to feel that you can be yourself in a traditionally
'straight' environment, kiss your partner and be however camp (or butch) as
you want.
b) you like booze"
I can't say that I was butch by any stretch of the imagination, and I had all of 1 glass of cheap chardonnay (followed by Coke and water). It was all much good fun, we met some cool new people including someone called Zack who was possibly the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes upon (and got chucked out of Weatherspoons for not having ID, he was that pretty - I mean, I would have said he was obviously over 18, but they seemed to think otherwise).
Fri opted for a quiet night in. Ended up spodding rather than working, but such is life.
Sat...my darlingest most adorable Kate sent me the rest of Underestimated - mega-squee! Give me a little while to act on her suggestions and I'll be able to post it, and archive it, and...ooooh *bounce*. Having said that, I'll probably prove to the world that I can't write anyway, but I'm enjoying this joyous moment while it lasts.
