There's this wonderful guy; he's a PhD student at Wolfson. He's also a notetaker and he come to our Cells lectures. Every now and again, he askes to borrow my (heavily annotated) lecture notes. I'm not entirely sure what he does with them; I think he uses my notes to supplement his own as English is not his first language. Either way, he always gives me them back promptly...and he gives me choklit to say thank you.
I find this a highly agreeable and mutually beneficial arrangement. It makes paying attention in Cells lectures actually seem worthwhile.
And why is it that filling in a questionnaire about my opinion of the teaching and learning in my course so far is proving to be far more mentally taxing than any essay I've been set to date? It's rather irritating; I don't know how successful my practicals have been so far, and ditto for this 'project work', whatever that may be. Plus I only get 2 forms to assess my supervisors, when I've been through around 8 supervisors this term.
In other news, today is meant to be International Women's Day. I suppose I'm meant to do something all pro-feminist. Yay Women! Will that do?
