Someone on my corridor seems to have decided to try experimenting with cooking fish.
As a result, the corridor is in a state where one almost needs a gas mask to walk down it. Stinky, big-time.

And the intelligent thing is, whoever it was, he put the trimmings, unbagged, into the main kitchen bin. The bedder doesn't come to empty our bins until Monday, and I don't even think there are facilities for students to empty the bins themselves. So we're stuck with this until Monday morning, I think. Ew. Hopefully it'll fail to permeate my room.

Happier point is that Cambridge is currently full of amusingly-garbed overexcited graduates, post-grads and others, in gowns of black and hoods varying in hue from Eco-warrior green to I'm-a-blood-donor red, as well as fluffy white. Overall quite a pretty sight. On an attractive person, college gowns are most decidedly sexy. Female or male.

What is it about dress-like clothing that makes men look so gorgous when they're wearing it? Hogwarts gowns, Elves' formal robes, University college gowns... *drools* Girly, you are so right about that.
I think there should be a decree passed - attractive men should be required to wear a dress or similar apparel for a minimum or one day per week.
Anu and Avvie would naturally pass already *awards prizes*, as would any Elf or Severus you should choose to name. The rest of you - frocks, now!

[livejournal.com profile] melime pointed me at this pic of the Legolas model thing. I couldn't stop laughing for about 5 minutes. Click on the link under the pic and it loads the Flash gallery - Legolas all the way round!!

Caption competition? Who can come out with the best nancy remark for him to be making?
