Er, yeah - apparently my cousin is getting married this coming weekend, and we're all off to the wedding. I think it's Saturday night that I'll be away, staying at some hotel or other (with my own room, squee!). Small panic when I wondered what on earth I was going to wear, but I've decided on the nice skirt Avvie and Girly persuaded me to buy back in...July, was it?
In my humble opinion, LochJournal 1.1 is more useful than LochJournal 2.2.
Went out for a run in the Lotus with dad. But today was rather warm, so when we stopped at traffic lights half a mile from home, it stalled and wouldn't restart. The advantage of a fibreglass car is that it really taes no effort at all to push, so he pushed it round the corner (so it wasn't blocking up a busy junction) and he tried to restart it.
A curious Lotus-fancier pulled up behind us in his classic car (actually a Jag, with the biggest bonnet I've ever seen) and he and my dad talked car things for a bit. They experimented with the spark plug some, and discovered that the coil was half-dead. After letting the car cool for about 20 minutes (which usually fixes it), we got it going again and went home. Cute car, but very temperamental.
