Set alarm to give me 10 hours of sleep, but forgot to set it to snooze, so when I bashed it quiet I then proceeded to sleep for another 45 minutes, followed by a further 15 minutes. So 11 hours this time.
Have made the decision to begin some attempt at academic work today. At a relaxed pace, I think :) First up: Viral Evasion of the Immne Response. Have been informed that I am making myself ill by spending too much time online. I am trying to work out what definition of 'ill' my mother is using, as it doesn't seem to be any of the usual ones. If she means 'mildly reclusive' she might be right, although it's not as if I never leave the house, and I don't like the cold weather, basically. I suspect it was just her being difficult again. Am kind of tuning her out, cos I think the odds of her actually throwing me out are so close to zero as to be not worth considering unless I actually do something to warrant it, like smoking pot or bringing a thuggish biker boyfriend over.
Got some writing done. And seem to have managed to exclude ventilation from my bedroom for long enough to keep it at a warm, constant temperature.
