Grrr...bedder just shoved her nose in my room and dumped my bin inside. Saw the state of my room and mumbled, "Oh dear," to herself before going away. I resolve to ensure that my bin is straight back outside the moment she leaves my flat...grrr...hatehatehate.

Hopefully she will realise that my room is too messy to vaccuum and won't come in again...

Judge found masturbating with penis pump during trials... Strange man, but I guess if the cases are that dull...

This article in Nature Medicine about using gene therapy to restore hearing is going to be controversial, I suspect.

Happy Valentine's to yarall!

(Even if you don't like it, as all I am essentially doing is saying I hope you have a nice time, and you have to be a miserable person to not want to have a nice time, right?) :p

Plants prac finished nice and early so was able to write some essay and have a nice long, relaxing coffee break with lab partner before supervision. German coffee shop does VERY nice chocolate and nut cake!

Why are train companies so annoying? Why are coaches so slow and fiddly? *is almost getting urge to get driving lessons now*

*will have to go and write more essay-type things soon* *sigh*

I am not prone to ranting normally, but I feel the need right now.

I can't speak for the computer world, but I know a little about pathology and virology.

In the world of biology, the plural of virus is VIRUSES.

Say it together:

VIRUSES

If someone has a reference that says otherwise, please give it to me and I will happily retract the above. But NEVER in a lecture have I heard anyone, including people with Professorships, talk about virii in the context of cells.
