Lurgy! *grins*
22 February 2005 19:35Happy Birthday
panheaduk!
Also, I am going to make today another Blame Tux DayTM!!
Reason: When I visited Tux, I did not have lurgy. Now I do.
*chuckles* I am OK really, perfectly functional, especially when I have had paracetamol. Bought some and also ibuprofen too, in case it gets worse. At the moment it's more a sort of, "Eni not quite with it," more than a, "Euuuuurgggghhhhhwoe is me!!" Tux is actually worse than me, so don't blame her too much. *huggles Tux and hopes she feels better soon*
*wonders if she can accidentally give anyone she doesn't like the lurgy too*
We got to make pretty fluorescence microscope pictures in the lab! They were lovely and when the techie people upload them on to the web from the lab computer I am making icons from them! Worked in spite of the small shortcuts we took *grins broadly* And demonstrator guy was hot and had the most astonishing blue eyes.
Eni has learned:
Kool Aid is so acidic it etched the rust spots off my pan
Kool Aid is so acidic that if you drink a litre and a half of it in one evening you get acid indigestion
Kool Aid tastes like bubblegum candy (or at least the blue stuff does)
Kool Aid can stain skin
Kool Aid is a powerful and mystical elixir and must be worshipped.
Also, on Sunday I found a dead woodpigeon outside my bedroom window. Actually, since it wasn't there when I left on Saturday, it would presumably be fresh and possibly edible, were I to take the time plucking and gutting it. But I would suggest that eating dead birds found in suburbs is maybe a silly idea. Could have eaten anything or died of a weird disease (though it did have blood on its head, so presumably an accident...). Moved it out of my direct view cos dead birds not the nicest sight really.
