senji a happy birthday on LJ yesterday, so happy birthday senji!!
Tolkien Society Squash was hilarious, met fanficcers, made one squee when I told her I had found her fanfic and read it *giggles* MWAHAHA. Got talked into being an evil paperclip in the next silly sketch, which sounds good to me as the paperclip gets killed. Met guy I also met at archery on Saturday, so that was cool. Drank wine and ate junk food. Today has been a good day for junk food.
I have also pwned my desk. It was arranged in a Silly way in my room before (well, in terms of maximising useful floor space, it may have been sensible. But in terms of maximising storage space it was silly). It was placed in suck a way as to totally block a perfectly good and spacious cupbard from opening.
So I rotated the desk. :D I now have my own hidey geek corner, the sun can no longer ever get in my eyes when I am typing1, I have a cupboard, the windowsill is more accessible, and I can dump stuff in the corner. But I need more extension leads, cos no matter how the desk is oriented, the lead of one computer appliance never quite reaches the plug socket...
Also, I have a cold. Not Fresher's Flu - I feel fine, I just sneeze a lot! Time to stock up on Hall's Soothers, I suspect... *wonders how much Vick's Vaporub actually costs*
1OK, so admittedly, with the looming (but beautiful) façade of Corpus Christi across the road, I get very little direct sunlight anyway, but less glare now, so all good.
