Of all the places in our garden, the one I enjoy weeding the most is the herb patch. After crawling through the (very large, megalomaniac) rosemary bush a few times, I end up smelling wonderfully herbal and savoury. And then a poke around the fennel adds an aniseedy tinge as well. So that was lovely. The garden is slowly coming under control, a bit at a time.
