Hayfield pub quiz
12 November 2006 23:59Well, that wins at being the worst pub quiz ever. Even worse than the usual ones I've been to!
The Student Union bar was shut, so we went to a local pub in search of an alternative pub quiz.
It was scheduled to start at 9:30pm.
It actually started at 10:05pm. There were supposed to be 5 rounds.
The first round finished at about 10:45pm. The second round finished at about 11:30pm. We were boggling at how long it was taking, not to mention the amount of cheating going on - and it wasn't even subtle.
Realising at this rate we'd be here till 2, and all of us had work to do in the morning, we walked out at the start of the 3rd round.
Bah.
But in better news, flatmate and I made a REALLY yummy tofu stirfry that was amazing. And yesterday we did cool stuff like sightseeing in Westminster and Soho. And the day before there was a wine and cheese party of greatness. So I am more happy than unhappy!
