Typically, now I actually have proper internet, I am hardly posting at all.
I think the answer to this is probably iPlayer.
I got caught up with Dr Who, and jolly good it was too! I think my favourite episodes of the season were the finale (of course) and the one with Vincent van Gogh. I love Amy. She's extremely hot. And also feisty. It's very cute.
I still love my job. I love my job so much that I'm getting up at 7:15am for it still, which is pretty damned impressive for me! My supervisors rock, my colleagues rock, they share my love of Real Ale and some of them have been indispensible for technical brainstorming. This whole having a job thing is really cool and I highly recommend it to people who are thinking about getting one - you do stuff that's awesome, and people pay you money for it! I have my own beetle cultures. At the moment I'm using 8 individual beetles as test subjects for my prelims, looking at the surfaces they walk on and right now, whether I can train them to associate a colour with food (I hope so...it would be pretty cool for a 2mm long beetle). Beetles are awesome cos they don't sting. They fly sometimes but not too often. Makes life simpler.
Tomorrow I may be dismantling a £5K piece of equipment to try and fix it, not sure yet.
In my spare time, I clean a lot and sit in my living room in the evenings identifying the moths that fly in, attracted to the light. Going bowling next week with work colleagues. Ex-flatmate from London visited the other weekend and we went to Rochester, where I bought an awesome hat (pink and multicoloured and sparkly stripes) and we watched dance performances in the street. Went for a walk this weekend just gone, found a little strip of chalk downland right in the middle of a dodgy bit of town, where the grasshoppers and crickets chirped so loudly it was insane and nature was awesome. (And a young and overenthusiastic Belgian sheepdog decided to make friends with me, by jumping up and leaving a muddy footprint on my boob, but never mind!)
Oh, I don't think I'll get my hands on hemp milk in the immediate future, so I'm going to post my non-dairy milk reviews pretty soon and when I do get hemp milk, I'll add it to the list.
Fic coming up in the next week or two. ;) It turned out to be 5 chapters plus epilogue, so a bit longer than I anticipated!
