BT?

Hey, does anyone here know if BT phone up their customers unsolicited and offer them free evening calls if they commit to using BT for another 12 months?

My trust in people who call me has been eroded by so many spam callers that now unless the handset says it's my dad, if someone calls me on my landline I start from the premise that they're lying, trying to take my money and if I give them any useful information they'll try and use it to get my credit card details.
