LOL. Well, painted bees wouldn't be the *most* silly thing, and *now* I want to include them (squee! ooh, this will be cool!), and indeed thanks for reading that explanation! But I was actually imagining them fathering[1] litters of future bees all called Amazing Bee Orange Paint Ursula XLVII, or Tipex Bee the Great, or whatever :)
