Happy birthday
aglarien1! I hope your day was filled with kittens, Elves and other delightful things! :D
Bees are in their new flight arena, which is the size of a large rabbit run or a small aviary. It would be nice for keeping chipmunks in, really. We're going to start the new trials on Monday, probably. Basically, the results on Wednesday were ten thousand levels of rubbish, so we are trying a different experimental design. I am not sure if this will require us to train 10 new bees, or just use the old ones in a slightly different scenario. I don't want to use White Paint Bee again, cos she is weird. She flies to the flower and drinks, but then spends 10 minutes humping one of the bolts in the arena before going home.
As a random aside, the Botanic Garden toasties and paninis, even though they are ludicrously overpriced, are extraordinarily yummy. Technically, the café isn't even meant to be open at this time of year, but I am not complaining!
And now...I am off to see Priscilla, Queen of the Desert! Everyone wave a Mitzi flag on my behalf! (I'm glad they are providing refreshments, cos I have had dinner and I'm still hungry - I think this cold weather is eating all my energy! I've admitted it's winter and got out my thick snuggly coat and College Scarf.)
Foreyule Feast tomorrow - w00t! Weather predicted to hit -4°C that night, when I will be getting a taxi home. Chilly Enis!
