Left hand side of garden now ground elder-free. Yay!

Was weeding in the middle of a rather enthusiastic hailstorm today - the hailstones looked like small versions of those sugar crystals you put in North German tea... I had a plastic sack on the lawn at the time, and it got covered in them. So I made a snowball from hail, which was amusing simply because I've never before in my life had the opportunity to do that.

I'm now jogging about 1.5 miles, and this distance will not be increasing in the immediate future, as it is just a wee bit painful.

Anyway, anyone want to beta my fic? It's 38 pages, as stated in the previous post, divided into 4 chapters (I'd be happy to receive it back chapter by chapter or in one big lump). Pairing is Maglor/Maedhros, so admittedly not to everyone's tastes, and the rating will be PG13 - though that's more for the battles than the slash content. "Smut" doesn't ever progress past a kiss. No particular hurry - I'm hardly a prolific writer!

I am currently yellow. We found some ancient dried-up yellow food colouring in one of mum's cupboards and I decided to revive it. It was a bit messy and so I am the colour of tartrazine... But we did get a small amount of usable yellow food colouring out of the adventure.

(raises hand) Well, even though I don't have the best track record, I'd be happy to beta. ^ ^;;

Hey now, I'm diligent to the point of obsessive and have a lot of time to kill tomorrow, why don't I have a go? =) I do enjoy reading your fiction.

Wow, squee!! THANK YOU! I am not remotely pushy or impatient, so take your time (especially as it's pretty long for something all in one go!), but I can always check in now and then if you're worried about forgetting ;) I'm pretty easy - say anything you like about any aspect of the story!

*hugs hugs* Thank you so much!

Oooh, if you're happy with the length and all, I'd be delighted if you could look over it too! The more opinions the better! And don't worry if you don't have time to finish it tomorrow (I've never done a fic that long in less than 3 weeks!).

*hugs*hugs*

And I still need to reply to your e-mail about Elves and things!

When I say I have a lot of time, I mean I'll be waking up at six, going to bed at midnight and not doing anything inbetween =P Having 6-7 hours free time a day is my norm. So yes! Send me your fic =)

Email - So you do! I guess I've gotten so used to people ignoring my messages that I've stopped noticing. ... Which is kind of sad.

Awwww, that's a pity... I don't normally ignore messages intentionally. I might procrastinate to hell about them, and faff and sort of forget and then only remember ages later, but it's highly unusual for me to get an e-mail that wants a reply, read it and then elect not to respond.

Awww! ^_^ (huggles) You're welcome. I'm happy to do it. Maglor/Maedhros is my favorite canon-character sibcest pairing (my favorite sibcest pairing are original characters).

Don't all e-mails want replies or do they talk to you ina clear and ambiguous way?

Well, a personal e-mail from a person usually tends to require some sort of reply at some point.

On the other hand, if it's something like one of those forwards consisting of one of those cringe-inducing poems and then instructions to send this to 15 people now or a giant anvil will drop on you, I refuse to ever reply to them on principle (and no giant anvil has yet dropped on me). And naturally, mailing list digests and college announcements don't expect replies either, and things like that tend to make up the bulk of my e-mail received.
