Enibrother/Away/Horse

Brother went out with his friends to celebrate his A-level results. Got back in at 5am, after drinking large amounts of alcohol and hanging out in clubs so loud that he still has tinnitus. He finally emerged from his bed this afternoon at 3pm after mum hammered on the door.

How the two familial males intend to cope without mum and me to supervise, I do not know. Mum's left them instructions...

So yeah, I'm away again. From tomorrow till Wednesday. We're in Alnwick, enjoying the countryside and a change of scenery. Should be lovely. One of the hotels is honestly nearer to Berwick (sp?) so we're hoping to look at Hadrian's Wall as well. Hack already booked for Sunday am, which should be cool.

Riding today was good. Mum was on this weird horse that was really stubborn, and her hind fetlocks kind of twisted when she put her feet down, which looked incredibly ungainly. Mum rode horse well, in any case. I was on my dear old donkey-friend Dillon. Surprisingly, he seemed pretty lively and kept up a good pace, as well as obediently working down and looking almost respectable.

Early night tonight - we leave early tomorrow!
