I am frustrated

My Lycos account won't send mail but will receive it. I think.

My Yahoo account will send mail but won't receive it.

I don't know if my beta-reader has contacted me because I'm not getting the mail I'm expecting. I e-mailed her once to tell her to mail my Yahoo not my Lycos cos I didn't trust Lycos. Now it seems I can't trust Yahoo either, and I don't know whether my beta isn't delivering or just can't get hold of me.

Silly useless e-mails :(

Snork! I should try hotmail. I've never had the slightest trouble with that working it from the UK.

Aaaah, I have Hotmail too. I agree, usually well-behaved. Trouble is, they insist on sticking (*shock horror*) my real name on the 'From' line whenever I send a mail, and actually changing it seems too much like effort! I should fix that really. It's the size of Hotmail accounts that gets me too; a friend sends you a photo, and you're instantly redlined, 95% full, you-must-delete-some-messages-now-or-be-condemned-to-eternal-Doom, and all that :(
