I am on holiday
16 March 2004 18:19My brother still finds it intensely amusing to snigger, "You're lesbionic," every time he sees me. Well, if it makes him happy...
Last night I got to meet up with the delightful personages
fairypants (who I know pretty well; she's a darling)
jonnyjonjon (her bf, who I hadn't met before, but seems very nice and
i_eat_bibles (who I've met a couple of times; she is very nice). That was fun - we bought choklit, and I now know where I can get late-night donner meat. I've also discovered they've opened up a late-night Tesco Express just down the road, so if I'm ever in need of, say, Liebfraumilch at 9:30pm, I know where to go. We walked, and talked, and it was fun. So yay to them!
I got a whole 10 hours' sleep - squee! I got up at 11:15 - yes, from that you can work out when I went to bed. I was reading Anestel by Esteliel, cos I realised it's high time I found out what it was all about. I'm up to chapter 20 so far.
Today has been wasted in the sense of - I have hardly moved from my desk all day, but productive in the sense of - I got my essay finished and sent off. I still can't believe there isn't a single book on Plant Pathology in any Trafford Library. *shakes head in bemusement* Anyhows, that's done and away, so I can get on with revision-related work.
