I'm very glad I made myself go to Aikido last night. Having had no time to train since early January, I was a bit worried that:
1. I'd got so unfit I'd make a fool of myself
2. I'd forgotten so much I'd make a fool of myself
Fortunately, it was Sue's class, she went easy on us, there were a couple of beginners so we did fairly basic stuff (which I needed) and she didn't ask too much in the way of remembering weapons. So I acquitted myself reasonably, if not exactly well, and mildly ogled one of the cute new beginners, but not too much cos that would have been naughty.
Came home with absolute mega carbohydrate cravings (I'd forgotten how Aikido brings them on in me). After realising that there was no way I was going to reproduce risotto with celery and melted cheese in at this time (recipe sound familiar to someone? I've had cravings for that particular risotto more or less constantly for the last 48 hours!!), I gave up and had muesli, then raisins, then crackers. And then was still hungry, but I'd been watching TV and it was late, so I thought I'd better go to bed.
Why is it that I've been home less than a week, and already the iron and my guinea pig and one of my mum's quails have broken? ('broken' in the widest possible interpretation) I resent that!!
