enismirdalOK, I'm going to be very careful and enthuse about the new movie, with NO proper spoilers (unless you're so picky that *anything* counts as spoilers as far as you're concerned).
It's great. If you haven't been yet, bring tissues.
Do stay for the credits, cos the art is lovely. But prepare to have Annie Lennox in your head for the rest of eternity.
Like Legolas's outfit in the late bit. Took my breath away. Good thing I'm a girl, or jeans would have been *way* too tight at that point. Also liked the Massive animation - very good, very good.
Wow the Oliphaunts. Wow them. And wow the thing where you-know you-knows it.
But I don't get this "They say..." That was Glorfindel, damn you Peter Jackson! Not some anonymous 'they'!
End of enthusing.
Gave blood today. Therefore not supposed to drink wine tonight. Doh. Met a friend who I haven't seen for a while, and we caught up a bit whilst having our post-donation tea and biscuits. Nice to see her.
