enismirdalWe watched a video of bonobos in our practical class today. They're great - they're the pygmy chimps, and to them, sex is a soical currency and is the underlying cement of their society. So everyone does it to everyone else, regardless of age or sex. We got to watch youngsters walking up behind big daddy bonobos and humping them silly. Even while eating at the same time. Brilliant!
Got back from last night's rehearsal (I apologise for laughing at the "with your stout legs and hard axe..." Legolas/Gimli lines, but in my defence, I was just about coping until everyone else started laughing too!!) and ended up in a three and a half hour conversation with the most lovely and charming![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
melime, in which I learned huge amounts of US society and got to hear of Winn Dixie even before anuanu mentioned it. Aren't I just the clever one? *laughs*

I've become addicted to mulled orange and mango squash. I'm sure this must be an indication of some underlying psychological disorder.
Have good intentions of working later today. Honest.
Also need to buy more Earl Grey and do washing, as have very few T-shirts left.
