Raistlin and Caramon are twins out of the Dragonlance series, about which there is a remarkable lack of slash, all things considered, and literally one or two pieces of good slash (Interlude, for example, I can recommend).
Raistlin - a mage. The appeal of Raistlin is a hotly-debated subject. He's bizarre looking (goldens skin, white hair, strange yellowy eyes with hourglass-shaped pupils...), pretty fragile, and has had a constant blood-coughing thing going ever since he passed the tests to become a mage. He is also grumpy, selfish, ungrateful, selfish, irritable, selfish, ruthless...and did I say selfish? Yet he has a whole following of adoring fangirls (including me) who nonethless find him quite irresistible (well, OK, he did become a god eventually). He's usually slashed with his apprentice, a slightly evil elf called Dalamar.
Caramon - Raist's twin brother, and everything Raistlin isn't. Think tall, strong warrior, and affectionate, kind and devoted brother and husband. He comes across as a bit thick at times, but that's unfair - he's just not as bookish as Raistlin.
So yeah, I love seeing them together. And I like Raistlin.
The 'other person' is a H/D shipper who appears to run some kind of Snape-related archive (Rape Snape Archive, or somesuch). Peeked in their LJ, but it was no-one I recognised.
I think my mom would faint if she knew that there was slash about all of the fantasy novels she reads! I'll bet there's tons of Dragonriders of Pern slash. Mwahahahaha.
Actually, there's less Pern slash than you'd expect. There's some, but Anne McCaffrey's agents are kind of paranoid-schizo about and infringement of her precious copyrights. They'll send out C&D notices to genfic writers and Pern based RP-games, never mind slashers. FF.net won't accept any Anne McCaffrey fics at all.
Although I have to say, the concept of F'lar/F'nor...or anything involving Ruth dying slowly and painfully...appeals immensely (sorry, I have a thing against Ruth. I suspect he may be some kind of draconic Mary-Sue).
I do indeed like ocelots. It's mainly because of a fantasy story I wrote some time ago, about a prince who was given ocelot-related magic, and had some fun. And some not-fun.
Hmm - it didn't sound nearly that corny back when I wrote it, I swear.
Yeah, also they are extremely cool. And cute. And pretty. And if they didn't stink so much, I'd quite like one as a pet.
Sure, I'd love to hear the joke. :D I have an extremely bad taste in jokes, so I'm sure I'll like it. *grins*

Do you want a joke about ocelots? It's in bad taste...

You oscillate its tit a lot.
Ok, maybe that's one of those jokes that has to be said out loud.
