...those silly plastic red fortune-teller "Magic Fish" that you get in Xmas crackers. It was weird. We were all trying it, and finding ouselves to be passionate, fickle and independent. We offered it to him, and he refused emphatically. We wheedled a bit, and dropped it into his hand, then he aggressively started trying to tear it to pieces. Strange man.

This strikes me as a marvellous thing to do, for only fire can cleanse the Evil of the Fish. Hot water will probably do in a pinch, though.
