30 December 2003 15:16My ickle bro has offered to make me a website for a scandalous but not too enormous sum of money. Am pleased. *bounce*
Went to Specsavers re glasses lost on tram. Seems that since I'm still in full-time education and I was due for a check-up anyway, replacement pair are free. Love NHS *bounce*. Unfortunately, they didn't have a pair identical to my old ones in stock, so they've had to order them in - 10 days? OK, since it's over 2 weeks until lectures start, therefore do not need yet.
Have been persuaded by brother that I need the Google taskbar thingy for IE. Which I got, which is cool, but then found that in order to take advantage of its miraculour pop-up filter, I needed IE 5.5 not 5.05. So had to get that as well - installation took ages. Still, now no more horrible pop-ups *bounce*
Why is it that last night was -3C outside, yet I still woke up at 1am this morning feeling like I was being cooked in an oven? Seriously, I was boiling, chucking off the covers and everything. Our central heating switches off at night, so it's not even like the radiators were on. It was just so darned hot! *growls*
