I need new, exciting recipes for tofu-cooking.
Important points:
-must be quick, less than 20 minutes to do; less than 10 minutes is excellent
-must involve relatively cheap ingedients
They can involve meat - I'm not a veggie; I just like tofu! And I'm not allergic to anything.
My current 2 recipes are:
1. Chop onions and, if you like, red/orange peppers. Fry a bit.
Marinate thinly-sliced tofu for about 2 minutes in soy sauce and five-spice.
Chuck tofu in with onions. Fry until cooked through. Chuck on some oregano, tarragon, pepper.
Serve.
2. Start as before, but instead of the soy sauce mix, use most of a tin of plum tomatoes (chopped). Leave to simmer for a bit till the tomato sauce starts to reduce, then serve. If in a spicy mood, add some salsa.
All suggestions welcomed.
