Notes to self:

• Put out gentle reminder to other memebers of household that after drinking orange jouice with bits in, the glass should be filled with water before being left on the side for washing (otherwise the bits adhere to the glass and take a lot longer to remove).
  
• Dentist at 3pm. Shouldn't be a problem.
  
• Decaf coffee tastes nothing like the real stuff, but works well enough to give me that nice 'I've been drinking coffee' aftertaste that goes a long way towards making me feel like I've been caffeinated, regardless of whether I have or not.
  
• Still no replacement computer; it's either 'still in assembly' or 'awaiting authorisation', depending on who you want to believe.

ADSL still up and down a bit. Was cutting out a lot yesterday, but has been OK today so far.

My mother has finally accepted that summer is over and the central heating needs to be on, so the house is now pleasantly warm most of the time :)

I'm now starting to hear the reports from my much-adored friends in Florida and surrounds - all I can say is that I am VERY VERY glad to hear you're OK; I'll be thinking of you as the mess Ivan left gets cleaned up. *sends big, sincere hugs*

Am also thinking of emperor and others at the funeral. *huggles tightly*

You're allowed centralheating before october! You lucky thing, my father thinks that it is dreadfully immoral to even think about central heating before the clocks go back... it is only by a lot ofjoint girly pressure from me and liz and mum that we are ever allowed it all!

Well, my mother is consistently claiming, often to near-strangers, that I am addicted to caffeine. I decided to prove her wrong. Hence, nearly 6 days and no headaches (apart from an unrelated tension headache on Sat), shakes or proven withdrawal symptoms.

Possibly the vague tiredness could be caffeine-deprivation, but it could also be the fact that no-one likes getting out of a warm bed into a cold room in the mornings.

Oh, and the 'Juicy Bits' in honest-to-god-it's-legal 'pure' orange juice cartons are wood pulp. Just thought I'd tell you that.
