I suppose it does make sense. It's just amusing because Jennie (satanicsocks) and I were just discussing how LJ was replacing email, but I said it couldn't. But your approach did work.

Perhaps we need a way of flagging LJ entries to people to whom they're relevent...?

Well, potentially I suppose I could have friends-filtered it so only you could read it, but it didn't seem like a sensitive subject. And that would mean I would have to create a whole new catesiandaemon-only filter and I already have 7 filters going... ^^

I don't mind.^[1] It's just that if such posts could be more targeted they could be used all the time instead of email without clogging up everyone's friends pages horribly.

[1] Reading it I got an amusing image of some offended person saying "Eni has Jack's phone number? Why don't I have Jack's phone number? I hate you all. *sulk*"
