10 October 2004 16:26Happy Birthday to Senji! Goodness me, you're older than
emperor now!
Went to Riding Club squash. Signed up and gave them my cheque. Will now have to nag mother to send riding hat, boots, crop, gloves and jodphurs down, as the place where I would be riding doesn't supply equipment. Price of lessons: £18 (which is a LOT considering I was riding for £12 back in Manchester). Saw a tired-looking but grinning
naath who was telling me about problems on the Northern Line.
Went shopping, ran into
atreic at the cash machine, who seemed squeeful about her new supervisees :D Passed Dr X a couple of times, but am still suffering from Deanophobia (the, "OMG this is the guy who can have me sent down!" complex) so didn't stop for a chat. Bought essential stuff.
Feel poor. This is a good way to feel, because it tends to put a hard enough brake on my spending habits that I don't go spending beyond my means. The fact that I was able to ignore the white maltesers stand in Sainsbury's is testement to this. And for the record, if I ever get my hands on
erestor I might actually kill her, because if it weren't for her I would never have come across white maltesers and become addicted to them. ;)
This is a much better-humoured post than my one last night would have been, cos I was grumpy last night. Nonetheless, there is still a wasps' nest under my window and my flatmates STILL never do their washing up, cluttering up the kitchen and making it smell smelly. *stabbity stabbity stab*

Date: 10 Oct 2004 16:25 (UTC)Argh, I know the pain. I refuse to do my roommate's dishes, though. She can just pile them up in the sink as high as she wants. We have a kitchen sink with two basins, so I just use the sink that she doesn't have all of her dishes in. The only problem is when she runs out of dishes and starts using mine. OMG KILL.
Also have to clean the house without one thank-you, but I'm trying to learn to live with it. :) I've bitched about this in only several thousand friends-only posts in my LJ, though, so I'll stop cluttering up your comments and just say that I hope all goes well and you don't get as crazy about it as I'm getting, LOL.
