Bread

Bread is funny stuff. Cheap bread seems to go mouldy long before it goes stale, whilst more expensive, nicer-tasting bread goes stale but is much less likely to go mouldy.

*throws experimental materials in bin as mother will probably not be interested in observing the results of said investigation*

I'm doing a big tidy-up so my room is presentably when my mum comes tomorrow. :D

Now that isn't something I'd advertise. Traditionally your fellow student-denizens will, on hearing that your mother/maiden Aunt/Parish Priest is visiting, will redecorate your room with inappropriate underwear, interesting sex toys, peculiar posters, and all the empty beer bottles in the building.
