Mum visit was muchly good - we went shopping and got jeans, new pyjamas and lots of food (and I got terribly excited because I'd never normally allow myself to be so extortionate in food-shopping, but when she seems to happy to pay, I suppose going for Kleenex For Men, rather than Tesco's own brand is OK).
My dad forgot to pack the crossover cable because he couldn't work out what I wanted one for. Well, obviously I was going to transfer all my important files from old to new comp via floppy disk...yes, naturally.
The greatest thing - I now have Tesco Value bourbon creams AND *loud trumpet fanfare* a 25-bag commercial box of White Maltesers! *singing of holy choir* Aaaaaaaaaah! Mmmmmmm! You see, Mars seem to have some deal with my dad's company which involves them selling lots of White Maltesers and Mars donating lots of money to Breast Cancer Research. So my dad sends me a box, meaning that Eni is VERY happy, and at the same time Breast Cancer Research get cash. So altogether a good result.
Anyway, more bouncing later. Now, I must go and finish the dreaded Plants practical write-up. *shivers in terror*
