The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
NB from me: I naturally won't answer personal questions about other people and I'm not going to give just anyone my address/phone number - and no, you may not have my credit card number! But pretty much any other subject is fair game!
Today not bad at all. Path prac finished nice and early, which was good as I am really rather tired. Went for lunch with
girlofthemirror and
illusive_shelle and discovered that I have probably not automatically secured tickets for the Nightwish concert I was planning to go to in Feb, so need to take active action. *kicks self up backside* I'm not good at active action, so this'll be fun.
Have estimated my spending (according to bank statement) at a little less than £40 a week. This would be GOOD. This means I can treat myself later on this term. Of course, it doesn't factor in the books I bought (about £70 worth, as I recall), but means I'm not living beyond my means. I have truly compulsive Scroogeness, possibly caused by my outrage over the price of Things in general. Also, to note, cooking for oneself is MUCH cheaper than eating in Hall. Also allows me to justify booking myself for a riding lesson next week (*squees at thought*). Assuming I can get a place on one of the lessons I can actually make.

Date: 12 Nov 2004 21:50 (UTC)If given unlimited amounts of guilt-free time would you rather:
A)take a riding lesson.
B)Write a story.
C)Read a good book/story.
D)Molest a movie-star of your choosing.
Naturally, I would go with D, but I have no idea who I'd choose. Today feels a bit more like a Johnny Depp sort of day, but I just caught a shot of Jared Leto in eyeliner for "Alexander," so he's in the running too.

Date: 12 Nov 2004 22:03 (UTC)As for molesting a movie star...I honestly don't really have the hots for any movie star in particular at present, so I'd probably pass. Though I'd never refuse Sandro Kopp looking like this! (http://www.sandrokoppofficialfanclub.com/Caerusnake_op_571x800.jpg)

I asked because "I think so" would have been my answer to the question the other way around. Clearly, people at Rivendell need to hold more parties (to which they invite us....)
