enismirdalLots of insects seem to have decided that my room makes an ideal winter hideout.
The mozzies are getting squashed one by one but I'll let the earwig stay. Though I'd prefer it if it didn't reside on my chopping board really. *checks* Ah, OK, it's gone now. Good good.
Spiders are OK, cos they are safer here than anywhere else in the flat.
Drosophila seem a bit unhappy. Wonder if they need different food, or were just a dodgy strain. I'm sure having your sex chromosomes fused and 8 extra transposons in your genome can't be good however you look at it.
Talking of insects, did anyone else watch that wonderful kids' TV series (from Luxembourg, as I reacall) called Insektors? I LOVED that series! It was just...loopy!
