In the process of trying not to do the essay I need to do, I have:
Looked up the lyrics to "Camp Grenada"
Looked up the lyrics to "Star Trekkin'"
Made coffee
Drunk coffee
Eaten maltesers
Put on music
Put out a spider for flatmate
Googled random stuff
Updated LJ

Motivation all vanished. If anyone sees my motivation, please return it ASAP. Some kind of reward might not be out of the question.

Nope, I need some motivation too - four lectures to give in next five weeks, and none of them on powerpoint yet...

But the Haldir fic is going well, she says hopefully...?!

Oh, yes. The choice - Elfsmut versus Work. Really no question of which one we want to be tackling, is there? :D

What does your motivation look like? I can only judge by the little I've seen of mine, which is small, agile, very fast, and acts in the opposite direction to effort.

Mine is mostly invisible and very shy, which explains why I hardly ever see it :)

I have the lyrics to Star Trekkin'... and the mp3... *sighs* I just love that song, and I know I'm going to have it in my head now...

*wanders off singing* Star Trekkin' across the universe...

Gotta love that song! So cheesy...so classic.

I always end up singing along. More off-key than the people in it, of course :D

It is a mystical substance that has the magic power of making things happen before deadlines, so I have heard. But I should consult with the head of our Order to learn more of this fell and powerful thing.

Now, now, get out there and look for your motivation or I'll have to deal out punishments *grin*. I'm thinking hot cocoa for both of us, maybe some donuts, cruising every slash site I have a URL for, and of course making you play video games. Now isn't that motivating? ;) I'd ask you to look for my motivation while you're looking for yours, but I know where it is. *yells into an EQ2 box* You have to come out sometime! I don't NEED 15th level by next week! (Really, I don't... why are you giving me the Elrond eyebrow?)

*giggles loudly* Oh, I have definitely lost my motivation in that case! Roll on with the punishments!!

Seems there's a plague of procrastination going around. We could easily get mixed up with someone else's motivation right now... I don't feel like Sonar Trancing myself into working a near-all nighter...

*grins* Procrastination is an art. They should give out awards for it.
