When I have a shower, I leave maybe 4 wet footprints on the bathmat thingy, and maybe my hair will drip a teeny bit on the tiles.

When my flatmate has a shower, the bathmat ends up screwed up on the floor absolutely sopping wet, and the tiles are covered in veritable puddles of water.

How does he do it? I am trying to figure out if he gets out of the shower with the water still turned on, or what.

Yeah, I have hip length hair and I manage not to make a mess. I think people just throw the water out of the bath/shower like Pippin did.

LOL Maybe! He has pink hair, so also it's easy to tell when it's his hair clogging the plughole and not mine :D

Hmm...at least he doesn't leave curly little hairs all over the shower. Count your blessings.

*giggles* Or the problems Girly had last year - a corridor with one shower between 4 girls and 2 boys, and strange white stains on the walls of the shower... Was most disturbing to behold.

Theory for how it happens: ye flatmate doesn't use the shower curtain properly.

So the floor gets wet AS he's taking the shower, not as he comes out. It's happened to me before when I didn't quite notice the odd misplacement of the curtain a few times. And if the bathmat is completely wet, big puddles are quick to follow.

Oh, I see. I find that kind of nylon can be forcibly stuck to the tiles quite firmly.

Maybe he needs to work on his technique!

<--- is somewhat guilty of this. But since I KNOW I'm going to make a mess, I put down an extra towel to soak up water when I get out. You have to do the laundry more often, obviously, but it might help keep the floor dry. *smiles* I have noticed that the males in my family don't bother, unfortunately... *swears and gets the mop*
