Costume. Walking.
29 November 2004 19:44I have a Ghost-of-Boromir costume!
After touring all the charity shops in Central Cambridge and finding that none of them stocked a white bedsheet, after popping into Robert Sayle's and making an astonished face at the price of bedsheets in there (£12+), I decided that walking another half-mile to Tesco's was worth it. Consequently, acquired bedsheet for £3.50. Wonderful :D Also, had 2 mile walk home.
Tesco's being Tesco's, I was naturally tempted by other things. Typically, I remember to fill up with bourbons, jaffa cakes and chocolate wafers, and totally forgot to buy carrots and onions, which I technically 'need'. But I have jaffa cakes. And it's reached the point in term where I need daily rewards to keep motivated, so reward of the day was the dozen jaffa cakes I demolished in 5 minutes after getting back this evening. I needed them - it's more than 2 miles' walk back from Tesco's!
I am kind of glad I only have 2 days of term left. Am tired, and ready to take a long break.
Have not looked at supervision reports yet and will avoid doing so for as long as possible.
Nadia's do EXCELLENT chicken tikka baguettes!
