Well, term has ended. That's it for now.
Well, apart from the 2 essays, short questions and practical questions and, of course, reading/revision. But that can wait.
Plant Sciences feedback meeting tomorrow. People seem to be generally happy with Plant Sciences and I don't have much to say. It appears that people are mostly happy with it.
Although the lecturers are considerably more sane in second year lectures than in first year ones. (Not always a good thing.)
Presentation in supervision went OK - managed to fill the time happily. He told the other two that they might have been cheating a bit, talking about what they were really interested in and not really talking about plants, but to be honest, the only reason why mine therefore wasn't cheating is because Plants is what I want to talk about.
Parasitology practical was fun. Got to watch a baby parasite thingy hatch from its egg. Was kind of cute, but when it grows up its life ambition is to move into your intestine/bladder blood vessels, copluate with another worm in your blood vessels and lay eggs into your gut. So not so nice really.
Sketches were great. Tim is a simply amazing singer. Really, really good. And looks rather fine in my beloved cloak. And in a tux. I only messed up about 20% of my lines. And couldn't see a great deal in the Party sketch as the sheet for Ghost of Boromir and the Boromir Helmet kept slipping over my eyes. I am certain I looked incredibly silly. Especially as Ghost of Boromir turned out to be about half the height of Ghost of Theoden (
saraphale is quite a lot taller than me!).
Lots of funness and stuff. Hobbit-child charming as always. Goons great. Sound effects really rather impressive. The CTS has some wonderful talent!
We've all seen loo roll that's out of synch, right? When the top layer gets flipped over so it becomes the bottom later and as a result the perforated lines in the two layers don't meet (users of Andrex and other expensive brands may experience this less often). Well the current loo roll in our flat is permanently out of synch. Whichever way you flip the layers, the perforations still don't meet.
It's one of those odd things that doesn't quite make sense.
Oh, and my room has reached an all-time record in messiness level. It is quite spectacularly bad now.
girlofthemirror: yes, worse than the last time you were over!
