Only one mugful...but I did also get coffee from the German café at about 3pm, and normally I only drink instant, so I might have been primed by that and then found myself unable to hold the 11pm mug.

I have this coffee grinder, you see, and it's a toy and I play with it. And then there's this ground coffee sitting there, which will lose its flavour if I don't add water soon. And then there's this cafetiere sitting on my side getting cold.

So I end up drinking much coffee. And I, too, have found that ground coffee at 11pm leads to work being done until 2am at least.
