About to start chasing Evensham re. new laptop (no word on it yet). Website says 'order being processed'...
Went out to lunch with dad/brother. We ended up an Old Orleans. Very nice meal but I ate too much. And since the Pud Crawl at the end of Lent Term (where I went through 3 servings of dessert, then went back through those three servings a little while later, in reverse order, in the toilets) I see to have developed aversive behaviour to hot chocolate fudge brownie sundae. And felt distinctly queasy as we left the restaurant. Returned to restaurant loos, but thankfully was not sick this time.
Oh, latest news from brother:
Brother: "Someone's signed me up to match.com, which is a dating website."
Me: *laughing*
Brother: "I keep getting e-mails about eligible gays in my area."
Poor child. I think one of his schoolfriends might be having a joke...
Dad's rowing club seems to have a problem for the upcoming regatta. ( Read more... )
Very rainy. The bottom of my brother's giant hole has turned into a small mud-pond, which is proving popular with the frogs, except that once they go in the hole, they can't get out. So I found that the hole today contained 7 medium to large frogs, all looking somewhat bewildered. He's made a little frog-ramp for them to get out now.
