Well...on Friday, Dillon and I continued our wonderful love affair; by the end, he was covered in sweat and about ready to fall asleep.
Well, he had been in several lessons that day, and it was a warm-ish day and I'd been trying to get him properly on the bit for the whole hour. My mother managed to get a few moments of proper, dressage-ring submission from one of the most annoying horses ever who normally cruises around with her nose in the air, go my mum! And the slightly two-sandwiches-short-of-a-picnic guy who rides with us accused her of letting the horse take the micky, LOL! The thing is, to him, a horse is good if it charges round with its head sticking out at high speed. He joyrides horses. I feel sorry for the horses.
I fished 6 frogs out of my brother's hole. 3 of them were cute teeny tiny froglets, yay! So cute. Chucked them into the pond, anyhow.
Oh, and I made a background for my
elured_elurin LJ. No copyright problems, cos I took the photo, go me! I simply went out into the back garden with my camera and photographed the hedge, then fiddled the picture a bit to make it the colour I wanted. I think it looks a bit amateurish, but kind of cool anyway.
Oh, and I discovered last night that I had a whole box of Pocky knocking around that I'd forgotten I'd bought! Well, I simply had to open it, and to keep my sense of balance and rightness, I had to eat all the broken ones...
