Am transferring some tracks off Now 36 on to hard drive.

It seems that CDs this old confuse the track-identifying functions of Windows Media Player.

It thinks that Westlife performed Horny (the Mark Morrison song). It thinks that Pink performed Anywhere For You (excessively soppy Backstreet Boys song). It thinks that A Different Beat by Boyzone is actually Ladies' Night by Atomic Kitten...and has mistaken 911's The Day We Find Love for Blame It On The Boogie. Disc 2 it couldn't identify at all, beyond the album title and 'Rock'.

Have been merrily relabelling things for it.

Dear Mistress Ell Jay Bee,

Because of your (highly amusing and really very good) story, my brain has become somewhat confused. For the last two nights, I have been dreaming I am a Mary Sue. Consequently, my sleeping unconscious has been coming out with ever more imaginative ways to remove the Sue from me. The latest plan apparently involved killing me and then bringing me back from the dead, sans Sue. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to consider the flaws in this plan. I woke up a little...bewildered.

For all others, it may be strange for me to be reccing a Harry Potter genfic, of all things, but A Sue's Story really is a great read. Can recommend!
