Spaghetti soup

The trouble with having effectively one and a half computers in my college room is that readying them for transport is a bit like extracting strands of spaghetti from spaghetti soup. So many wires...

Have found many things today that I thought I'd lost/left at home. If the Missing Scene of AIHL turns up I'll be VERY pleased!!

To fix a chair.

Desk chair has been driving me barmy for most of the term. You see, after sitting on it slightly oddly, one of the corner joints would start to come apart, and sometimes the joinery bit would pop out altogether, resulting a minor collapse.

Today, my last full day in Cambridge, I bother to turn the chair upside down and find out what's wrong. ( On fixing chairs )
