Braaaaaaains!
29 January 2006 15:07Yesterday, I actually was a zombie. I hope I didn't say anything silly/embarrassing/just plain weird, but it's not inconceivable that I did.
Things I know I did:
I am not sure I've been that close to exhaustion...well, actually, I think I was fairly close the evening I got back from that conference earlier this month, but before that... Whoah. I went to bed as soon as I got back from StarWarsing, slept for nearly an hour and a half. Got up, showered, had dinner, went to bed again after doing some more reading and slept solidly from midnight to nearly 11am! (Well, except for a brief bit where I was trying to work out if some !&%*"&$ idjit was knocking on my door.) So in last 24 hours I have been asleep for at least 12. Woohoo! That's me having delayed-reaction stress. It's sort of useful - at least I'm crashing now, after the project is out of the way, rather than before it got handed in.
Friday night was cool - CTS video evening, which turned into pub evening as there were only 5 of us there and
naath needed to do work (so did I really, but I was mostly being relieved at having project of d00m totally off my hands now). There was chocolate and funny and things. Before that I'd been out for coffee with one of my PlantSci friends, who proceeded to show me one of her favourite websites, which had gorgeous personages in various states of uncladness (and also some very cheesy ones).
Hey, does anyone know if they have decided to do some kind of redevelopment on that shopping arcade thingamy by the bus station? It seems suspicious that all the shops there would decide to shut down all at once unless their lease has been forcibly ended.
Also, I don't like this plan the council have of creating a bus station on Parker's Piece. I like Parker's Piece the way it is, thank you.
Things I know I did:
- Lecture
- Lots of Behavioural Ecology reading
- Went to
innocencest's house and watched Attack of the Clones. Decided Anakin was Teh Hotness. - Sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
