Busy couple of days!

Yesterday, my parents came to visit! Unfortunately, the traffic was horrendous and the journey took them nearly 5 hours (including break for lunch). So they weren't here until a while after 5, which was too late for us to go to the concert in Main Court. But we managed a little bit of wandering in Cambridge, and there was dinner.

Thank you to all the people who suggested restaurants. In the end, we went to The Vaults, which was lovely (except for a minor problem with the Port that was quickly rectified). Lots of yummy yummy food! Pigeon breast = delicious.

Then we wandered some more and bumped into ilanin, which was cool, and went out for coffee, at which point edith_the_hutt and rochvelleth walked past and I ran up the street to say hi and impart hugs. Yay them!

Got home, went to bed after watching some DVD and things. Slept very little - body's temperature controls seemed to have gone on holiday, so I kept being too hot, I was accidentally grinding my teeth, my brain was on overdrive and I had Home in the Heartland as an earworm for about 3 hours.

( Today, as I have hardly stopped, and done SO much! )

Will do dinner things soonish. Perhaps have coffee before then.
