Proof of address?
24 September 2006 20:17I'm in the process of registering with a doctor here in London. The thing is, they want proof of address. The suggest either a bank statement, a recent utility bill, a council tax bill or rent book or benefits book. Unfortunately, I can't supply any of these things - I'm only just informing my bank of my change of address right now cos I'm inept, I don't have any utilities not covered by my rent, I don't pay coucil tax, don't have a rent book and am not on benfits. Would a copy of my tenancy agreement, which has my name and address both stated clearly, suffice? Or my tuition fees bill (which I will have to sort out when I enrol, as the BBSRC have promised to pay my fees...)?
Party was good. Will write up at a later date. Dad knows some really amazing people. Made friends with some people who live in London, will have to visit.
In other news, I am now the proud owner of an Oyster card. Hooray for Eni the Londoner!
Tiring couple of days, hehe!
Meeting with my supervisor at 10am tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting going - hooray bees, flowers, computers, whatever I end up working with!
