They told us the department would be heated over Christmas this year.
They lied.
Thankfully, I have my purple fan heater of greatness. And lots of coffee. So I am OK. Am still not impressed, though.

tuxedo_elf introduced me to bottlegreen spiced berry cordial, which is incredibly yummy and this bottle isn't lasting very long at all.
Flatmate asked me to return some books to the library for him, so while I was there, I signed up myself! Hooray. Well, I say "library" - because Tower Hamlets is a happy-hippy sort of place, they call the main libraries "Idea Stores". So my library card is an "Idea Store" card. Wheee. I got lots of juicy reading material to keep me occupied over the next week or two. And called into Blockbuster on the way home, so have mooooovies to watch as well. Much hurrah. It's funny...normally I rent movies with a flatmate and we watch them together. This time, because it was just me, I could get anything I wanted. That was exciting. :D
