I was walking around Covent Garden before meeting my wonderful dad for lunch at the weekend, and stumbled upon the tea shop there. I came away with a bag of Oolong Silvertip and joy of joys, a tea infuser. I'd just somehow never thought of buying one of them before despite drinking enormous amounts of tea and mostly brewing it in the cup - for the large-leaf teas like White Cloud Jasmine and Abali, this was always fine as the leaves sank, but for a cheaper green tea with minced up leaves I always ended up eating bits of stalk.
So now I have a "Tee Ei" and it's WONDERFUL! I can just chuck it back in the cup with more water and voilĂ , another cup of tea! Woo woo!
Seeing my dad was amazing. We went to the Natural History Museum and looked at dinosaurs.
My brother allegedly survived the Rome Marathon and got a pretty good time. The marathon site provides videos of each runner, so I spent much of this morning watching videos of bro and sniggering. (He does have a very funny way of bobbing as he runs...)
I'd wish you all a Happy St Patrick's Day, except it isn't really St Patrick's Day... LOL Well, have fun drinking Guinness anyway...!
We're supposed to be going to see Avenue Q tomorrow. Wheeee!
