There's something in cranberry shredded wheats that makes milk coagulate in a couple of hours, until it has the same consistency as cheap creme caramel.

I have no idea what.

But it's kind of amusing.

That also happens with Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. In fact, if you leave it for a few more days, it will probably go syrupy/solid...

(You know how bad I am at washing up...)

LOL! I wonder if it's the sugar, or whether it's something to do with the milk having been open a day or two?

It sounds completely gross to me...heh. But then, I eat almost all my cereal dry, without milk...

It kind of is! But the milk wasn't sour, just semi-solid, which intrigued me most.

*shudders* I can't eat cereal dry - I usually end up choking on it! My brother used to eat his dry too and I was never able to understand how he did it!

(And cute icon, btw! :D)

It's kind of a nice change from chips or something. I used to take dry cereal in my lunch to work...

There's also something in ground cinnamon that makes coffee grounds (the real stuff that you make in a cafetiere) go gelatinous. It's really quite cool, because it means you can just plop the whole semi-solid mess into the bin rather than washing all the teeny little bits down the sink.
