I think I am going to make today Ladybird Appreciation Day. I've got a new ladybird for my chilli pepper plant and it's eating the aphids! It's terribly exciting watching it chew up the beasties - there are a lot of them now, so it's not going to be a hungry ladybird! So I want to show my appreciation for my scarlet friend, for munching all the aphids. Go ladybirds! :D

I suppose work requires you to be awake at such a 'strange' hour. Ladybird appreciation is a good idea unless you are an ant who relies on aphids for food but not in an eating them way.
That meme doesn't provide good options...

Well, I for one am entirely in favour of appreciating ladybirds (or ladybugs as they are known in the US; I prefer bird...) because they saved my roses from aphids!!

I like ladybirds. I used to sit in the garden finding all the different types and counting them. Yay for ladybirds.
