End of term!

Term is over. No more lectures till January.

I'm sooo tired!

Unproductive bee day - only two bees would actually forage (only four bees ever actually came out at all!), and those were both ones we tested and collected data for yesterday. So we gave them more pollen and a fair bit of sugar, so hopefully the queen will make babies for us. We might be ordering a fresh colony soon instead, though.

I *will* go to bed on time tonight...

Wonderful thing about bee project - the bees don't do anything at all first thing in the morning, so there is no point our starting work at 9am. So I don't need to appear at the lab till 10. Woohoo!

Hee! But you have to get used to spending an hour at a time sometimes drinking coffeewatching the bees do nothing at all, and whole wasted days where it turns out that bee was just a bit thick!

They are nicer than bankers. And you get to call the dim ones Emily which simply wouldn't do in the Square Mile.
